Description[edit]
The closed position is where the lead has the right hand around the back of the follow at shoulder blade height. The lead's left hand holds the follow's right hand and the follow's right hand is on the shoulder of the lead. The left hand of the lead presents the hand in a "L" shape with the thumb jutting out and the follow's hand curls around the thumb.
